THE MAN BEHIND THE BLUEPRINT

The past explains my pressure. It does not decide my future.

On May 14, 1999, I was arrested. My fiancée was eight and a half months pregnant with our son. Two weeks later, on May 27, 1999, he was born—and I was not there to welcome him into the world.

I did not come home until May 14, 2019—twenty years to the day after my arrest. Then, on May 27, exactly two weeks later, my son turned twenty years old. His entire childhood had passed while I was behind prison walls.

That truth became fuel. I could not recover the years I had missed, but I could decide what kind of man I would be from that point forward. I was determined to become a better man, a present father and, ultimately, a husband worthy of the family that had endured those years with me.

I eventually married my son's mother and began putting my family back together. To me, that is a victory greater than any truck, paycheck or business milestone. It reminds me that rebuilding is possible when we focus, accept responsibility and move with the knowledge that the Creator and our ancestors are on our side.

FROM REBUILDING TO OWNERSHIP

I did not come home to excuses.
I came home to build.

I returned home at age fifty with no money, no employment and no safety net. I drew on the discipline and logistics knowledge I gained as a 76Y Supply Specialist in the U.S. Army, educated myself, entered trucking, founded Demo Dispatch LLC and became the owner-operator of a green 2006 Mack Granite tandem dump truck.

I went from twenty years in prison to reaching $20,000 in a month and building a multiple six-figure annual business. That is my personal result—not a promise that everyone will earn the same amount. What can be followed is the process: learn the industry, work before you own, protect your cash, buy carefully and execute with discipline.
